Luminous Skin
Every woman desires to have a luminous complexion that screams perfection. Unfortunately, not all women are blessed with perfectly radiant and dewy skin. Luckily, there are things that you can do to achieve luminous skin. Simple changes on your lifestyle and skin care regimen are all that's needed for a glowing new you. Let me share to you some of them.
1. Never go to bed without deep cleansing your skin. Unknown to many women, a good cleanse before going to bed is the best beauty trick. You'll definitely get more your of your moisturizer or your anti aging product if you apply them on clean skin. Furthermore, deep cleansed skin looka more radiant. Your pores will look tighter and you'll have a much healthier complexion.
2. Exfoliate regularly. Dead skin cells need to be removed regularly to reveal the fresher skin cells underneath. As we all know, younger skin cells mean younger looking skin. If you don't want to have it done professionally (microdermabrasion), you can just wash your face with an exfoliating scrub or your regular cleanser with a loofah.
3. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. It is very important to hydrate your skin inside and out to get that dewy and luminous look. Don't forget to drink lots of water and moisturize your skin after washing your face to prevent your skin from drying out.
4. Load up on good fat. Eating the right kinds of fat can do wonders to your skin. Good fats such as avocados, nuts, olive oil, fish and flax seeds are very high in antioxidants. Apart from that, good fats are the building blocks to healthy skin.
5. Treat yourself to an anti aging facial skin treatment from time to time. Anti aging facial skin treatments help stimulate the skin at the cellular level. As an effect, your skin would have that natural, radiant glow because your complexion is more even and your pore size is decreased.
6. Sleep well. Seven to nine hours of sleep every night is probably the best thing that you can do for your outer radiance. During sleep, your body emits complexion boosting hormones such as melatonin, which is a powerful antioxidant. It also helps your body repair the damage from the day so you may have noticed that every time you wake up you feel "brand new".
7. Avoid wearing makeup whenever possible. Makeup can clog your skin which can lead to breakouts. Makeup also defeats your goal of having that dewy and radiant look. Let your skin breathe once in a while. Your skin would thank you for it.
