Professional fishing tackle greatly facilitate and speed up the process of catching fish. Nevertheless, in a number of situations it is possible to cope with the capture without them. The main thing is to have the right materials at hand, from which you can make a simple, but very effective trap. The manufacture of artisanal gear will take no more than thirty minutes. It will take a bottle and a rope.

Cooking process

In order to make a makeshift trap for fish, we need a large (minimum 10-liter) plastic bottle. The larger the capacity, the better. In addition to it, a rope and a stone will be needed. Of the tools you need only a knife. First of all, the cap is unscrewed from the bottle and the neck is cut off. When this is done, at the bottom of the bottle, a small hole is made strictly in the middle.

Now you need to turn the cut neck and insert it into the bottle so that the neck faces the bottom. After that, armed with a knife, we cut several more pairs of holes along the top of our trap. When all this is done, we divide the rope into two parts - long and shorter. We pass a long piece into the hole at the bottom of the plastic bottle, after which we fix it by tying knots at both ends.

We cut a smaller piece of rope into small identical fragments, after which we “sew” holes in the upper part of the trap so that the two parts stay together. Before closing the feeder tightly, we put a stone on the bottom of the bottle.

Note: in the most desperate situations, the rope can be replaced with elastic branches of bushes and trees.

Operating principle

Such a fish trap works very simply. Caught in the water, the bottle goes to the bottom because of the stone. Then it remains to wait until the fish swims inside. Once inside the bottle, the fish in 9 out of 10 cases will no longer be able to swim out due to the design features of the gear. It is best to place a trap downstream. To speed up the fishing process, it is recommended to throw some bread or worms inside.
