Forgetting
What is forgetfulness
Oblivion is the inability to remember or retrieve information when needed. Forgetfulness occurs naturally during the details of daily life such as forgetting a certain position, forgetting the place of placing keys, or forgetting an appointment. Forgetting the painful details and difficult events reduces stress and stress. Forgetting unimportant details is also a way for the brain to get rid of useless information to give more space to store and use useful information.
Different forms of forgetfulness depending on the type of memory used to store this information, some forms of forgetfulness is a natural thing to be overcome through a series of steps and exercises, and others indicate the existence of a specific disease requires the doctor to see the necessary tests and diagnosis of the disease causing forgetfulness.

Natural forgetfulness
transience
The brain tends to forget facts and events over time. It is very possible to forget new information soon after learning, or a phone number that has been repeated once. The brain follows the rule of "use it or get rid of it", forgetting information and unused events to give the brain room to receive and store new and useful information.
Absent-mindedness
A kind of forgetfulness occurs when there is insufficient focus and attention when making a specific order or receiving certain information. For example, forgetting to place the pen while the mind is occupied by something else, most of the time the mind is busy with nothing, the lack of attention makes the information is not restricted in the brain well and lose quickly.
Blocking memory
It occurs when a person wants to say certain information but can not retrieve it at that moment as if it stands on the edge of his tongue but can not say it. This happens because there is a similarity or link between different information stored, trying to retrieve one brings the other wrong.
Often occur with age, the person confuses the names of his children in most of the times he calls them.
Forget the link
It occurs when a person remembers a certain situation but forgets other details related to the situation such as place or time, or when there is a basic belief that the person thinks he has issued but forgets that it was read somewhere or moved from someone else.
The problems mentioned above are all different forms of forgetfulness occur naturally, it is normal to forget the healthy person from time to time, and there is a certain amount of forgetfulness in line with the increase in age, but there are signs of forgetfulness of the disease and continuous must then see the doctor to diagnose the situation accurately.
Memory types
The information is entered into the brain by the five senses. Everything that the eye sees, nasal smell, sound, taste, or feeling is a sensory information that is captured by the senses and enters a dedicated place in the brain. There are important inputs that change in a certain way from entry to long-term memory, Unimportant is deleted or forgotten directly, all within a series of complex neurological processes that store information by memory type;
Sensory memory
The shortest memory type is the ability to remember the sensory effect for a few seconds after it disappears, such as the ability of a person to save the details of a given image after one second of consideration.
Sensory memory does not enter into consciousness and is rapidly forgotten within a short period of time if attention is not focused on a particular element, and the information becomes short-term memory.
Short-term memory
A memory that keeps a small amount of information active and accessible.
Short-term memory, such as the brain observation pad, can hold a set of information (average 7 information) to remember and use in a short time, such as saving a set of numbers for a calculation.
Short-term memory is based on three basic processes: coding, preservation, and retrieval.
When looking at a particular image quickly, the brain will not save its parts. To make the image within the short-term memory space, attention must be paid to a certain detail to be encoded and maintained for a long time. The image is forgotten if insufficient effort is made to restore it.
Long-term memory
The information is stored for a very long time and in unlimited quantity, is the memory responsible for previous events in a person's life, important facts and ways of accomplishing tasks, how to go home or reach a certain place. Unlike short-term memory that fades with time, long memory remains stored by complex neurological changes and processes, forgetfulness occurs if connections between neuralgia are impaired or interrupted.
Forgetfulness in different memory types
Forgetfulness in short-term memory
Forgetting things that have been dealt with recently, such as forgetting something that was heard minutes ago, or forgetting when to take medicine and others;
Repeat the same question several times.
Forget the dates of events and occasions.
Forget places to put things.
Oblivion in long-term memory
The main sign of forgetfulness associated with long-term memory is forgetting things that have happened in a person's life previously and represent important facts such as the name of his high school or forgetting the place of residence and other symptoms such as:
Mix names of objects.
Take longer time to accomplish a familiar job.
Forget the words familiar and basic.
Lost places and lost.
Mood changes and irritability.
Oblivion in long-term or short-term memory may be due to age progression if within certain limits and may be indicative of advanced diseases such as Alzheimer's, dementia, hemorrhagic stroke, and others.
Causes of frequent forgetfulness
As a result of age, aging is accompanied by a natural decline in the strength of memory. Between natural forgetfulness and dementia, a stage called mild cognitive impairment affects 16% of the elderly over the age of 60.
Anxiety and tension, prevent the person from concentrating well to receive new information, retrieve previous information or form a new memory.
Depression, including common signs of depression include severe sadness, lack of motivation, and loss of pleasure in things that are pleasurable for the patient. Forgetfulness can also be a sign of depression or as a result.
Lack of sleep disorders is a key factor in influencing concentration and attention. It also affects mood, increases anxiety and nervousness, and makes any mental task difficult and exhausting.
Some medications, such as antidepressants, pressure medications, epilepsy drugs, etc., reduce attention and make concentration difficult.
Hypothyroidism, in addition to its effect on cognitive functions and memory, it causes sleep disturbances and depression, which increases the problem of forgetfulness, difficulty concentrating and remembering.
Brain diseases, such as:
Brain tumors.
Exposure to a severe blow to the head, and brain concussion (Brain Concussions).
Meningitis.
Brain damage, such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease or Huntington's disease.
Stroke.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a psychological disorder experienced by people after serious and traumatic events such as survivors of war or murder.
The use of narcotics, drinking alcohol and smoking affects short-term memory and weakens concentration, all of which affect the oxygen coming to the brain through its effect on blood vessels. A lower amount of oxygen for the brain means weak cognitive performance.
Lack of minerals and vitamins important for neurological functions, such as vitamin B12 deficiency.
Treatment of forgetfulness
Treatment of other medical reasons leading to forgetfulness, taking necessary supplements in the event of any deficiency in addition to the doctor to take an alternative medicine for the drug that causes forgetfulness.
After making sure that there is no organic or psychological reason for forgetfulness, the following steps can be taken to stimulate memory and reduce forgetfulness:
Attention and concentration, training the mind to pay attention and focus fully in the performance of a particular work, helps the brain to recognize the existence of information and coding and save for a longer time.
Taking notes, on paper or on the phone helps the brain arrange and organize priorities.
Solving puzzles and mental exercises such as solving crosswords, trains the brain to memorize information, improves memory and activates it.
Divide information into smaller sections and place them within the context of a concept that makes the brain more able to memorize them for longer.
Linking new information with previous information and facts makes retrieving it easier.
Repetition is one of the most important steps to transfer information from short-term memory to long-term memory.
Taking care to learn new information, mixing with people and staying away from isolation The brain remains active and stimulating, taking care to set times for reflection, reducing stress, increasing mental clarity and comfort and directly affecting short-term memory efficiency from the 1920s to the old age.
Sleep regularly and for sufficient hours, and be careful to sleep at night and not during the day. Sleep is the time when the brain intensifies information and binds to each other and store them, ie lack of sleep is closely related to memory weakness and forgetfulness.
Healthy eating rich in vegetables, fruits, meat and fish, providing the body with essential vitamins and minerals to function properly in a healthy and healthy body.
Drifting away from sugar, where studies have shown that sugar-rich food routines reduce the functions of mental cognition, and weak memory, which directly affects the areas responsible in the brain for storing short-term memory.
Taking enough vitamin D, studies have shown a strong link between vitamin D deficiency and the risk of dementia with age, and lack of cognitive functions.
Drink a sufficient amount of water to prevent dehydration, dryness of the body reduces concentration and attention.
Stay away from smoking, drinking alcohol and narcotics.
Regular exercise activates the flow of blood circulation to the brain and various body organs, reduces depression, improves mood, and reduces obesity.
I have been suffering from (HERPES) disease for the last four years and had constant pain, especially in my knees. During the first year, I had faith in God that I would be healed someday. This disease started to circulate all over my body and I have been taking treatment from my doctor, a few weeks ago I came on search on the internet if I could get any information concerning the prevention of this disease, on my search I saw a testimony of someone who has been healed from (Hepatitis B and Cancer) by this Man DR Amslem and she also gave the email address of this man and advise we should contact him for any sickness that he would be of help, so I wrote to DR Amslem telling him about my (HERPES Virus) he told me not to worry that I was going to be cured!! hmm i never believed it,, well after all the procedures and remedy given to me by this man few weeks later I started experiencing changes all over me as the DR assured me that I have cured, after some time i went to my doctor to confirmed if I have been finally healed behold it was TRUE, So friends my advice is if you have such sickness or any other like HSV1,2,HPV1,2,3,CANSER HIV,COLE SORES,TOOTH AKEA,SYMPTOMS,y. you can email DR AMSLEM on( dramslem420@gmail.com sir I am indeed grateful for the help I will forever recommend you to my friends!!! with your lovely Email Address ( dramslem420@gmail.com or you can also WhatsApp him on this number +2348076595861
