EMOTIONS |
EMOTIONS AFFECT HEALTH.
People experience a wide variety of emotions, from happiness to longing, from excessive joy to depression. Each of these emotions creates a specific sensation in the body. As a result, our body produces various chemicals, depending on the emotions experienced. Each chemical combination in turn creates an appropriate environment in the body.
For example, if your brain releases serotonin, dopamine or oxytocin, then you will feel good and happy. Conversely, if your body produces cortisol while undergoing stress, you will have a completely different feeling associated with the transition of the body to survival mode.
But what if thoughts are negative all the time? And what is it all the time to think positively? And what happens when we are emotionally neutral, we think neither positively nor negatively? Let’s take a look at how all this affects our body and life.
Positive and Negative
Is there duality in our world? Of course, we can say that there is a certain degree, but basically we spend a lot of time defining and evaluating what should be considered positive and what should be considered negative. The brain is a very powerful tool, and depending on our definition of how something should happen, this result begins to become reality in our world.
Have you ever noticed, for example, that someone was cut while driving, and someone who starts to swear at the wheel, get angry, feel negative, the mood becomes terrible? At the same time, someone else can cut another driver, who, in turn, slows down a bit and goes quietly further, as if nothing had happened. One and the same situation, but everyone sees it in their own way, someone sees it as negative, and someone does not. So are things inherently positive and negative? Or are we defining something as positive and negative?
Perception
Perhaps, when you thought about this, you realized that in reality there are neither positive nor negative situations, it is we who define them as such. Therefore, our perception of things or situations has full control over how we will feel when this happens.
While we can constantly work to go beyond our definitions and get closer to the state of mind / consciousness, when we simply accept something as it is and use it as an opportunity for learning. Perhaps we have not yet reached this state. That is why it is very important to understand how certain emotions can affect our health.
“If a person wants to become healthy, then first you need to ask him if he is ready to get rid of the causes of the disease. Only then can he be helped. ”- Hippocrates
The connection of mind and body
The connection between the mind and the body is very powerful, although it is not visible visually, the consequences that your thinking can have on your body are very significant. We can have a generally positive psychological attitude, successfully deal directly with our internal problems and, in turn, lead a healthy lifestyle, or we can be negative, think destructively, do nothing with internal problems, maybe even hide them, and create an unhealthy, self-destructive lifestyle. Why is this happening?
Our emotions and experiences are essentially energy, and they can be stored in the cellular memory of our bodies. Have you ever encountered something in your life that left an emotional mark and pain in a specific area of your body? As if you can still feel what happened to you? It is likely that this is happening because in a certain area of your body there is still energy from this experience.
If you experience pain, you have injuries, then this is often connected precisely with something that you emotionally feel inside yourself. At first glance, this may not seem so, because, as a rule, we are very separate from us and our emotions in this rapidly changing world, but this is often true. I once had constant pain in my back, knees, neck or shoulders. And this was not something purely physiological, everything went when I figured out the emotions that were behind it.
I spent a lot of time and money on treatment, but everything was empty. Despite the belief that all this should help and the desire to feel healthy, the treatment did not bring results. Everything changed when it came to understanding what causes of pain could be in my subconscious. And since then, the more attention I paid to my emotions, feelings, experiences, the less and less pain became, and eventually disappeared with everything.
When you get sick, you feel unwell, often your body asks you to pay attention to yourself, to understand yourself, your own feelings and feelings. This is all a process of growth and learning, so we should not judge or be afraid.
You are strong and you have everything you need
Davis Suzuki wrote in Sacred Life, that when verbal expression of anger, hatred, and jealousy occurs, molecules are reduced and toxins are released. If such toxins are released within an hour, then this is enough to kill 80 guinea pigs! Can you now imagine how much you harm your body if you think negatively and do not give yourself the opportunity to worry?
Remember, you have all the strength within you to cope with everything that happens in your life. Instead of defining something as positive or negative, try to look at everything as if from above to see a wider picture. Ask yourself, how can this help you to understand or learn something? Can this situation help you change your perception? Could this help you sort out your emotions? You have all the necessary tools to work with your emotions, get rid of discomfort, understanding their causes.
If you think that this pain will continue all the time and that you cannot control it, then that will be so. Until you understand that you can control a lot of what is happening to you, including your well-being.
